Byron Bay Trip ,Dec 2016

Heyyyy!! It has been awhile since I last blog and I realize this is the line that I always said at the beginning of the post! LOL

Its a brand new year and here I wish everyone has a brand new way to start your year! A little bit of my new year resolution – keep my blog updated as often as possible and chase after what I really want and make 2017 count!

I would really love to kickstart with a very honourable post – GRADUATION & AUSSIE TRIP with fam bam! To my biggest achievement so far, yea i have graduated from University of Queensland in 2016 and officially joined the unemployed pool. HAHA

Before the actual date of my graduation I headed down to Gold Coast airport to pick my parents up who I have not seen them for quite some times! And we decided to have a stay over at Byron Bay (Gold Coast)  and chill for the rest of the day after their 8 hours flight.

Stay : Flamingo Byron Bay

We decided to spend our stay at Flamingo Deluxe Family Suite which is able to accommodate the 4 of us ( Dad,Mom,Sis and I).There are also bike service available.

The room was really comfortable and clean and we enjoyed the stay and it was really convenient for us as they provide off street parking right outside our front door which made our loading and unloading luggages process easier!

We headed over to the beach after we had settled our stuff. Byron Bay is a popular holiday destination, known for its beaches, surfing and scuba diving sites. However, it was really windy that day and I was literally freezing man!#messyhairdontcare haha!

After a few shots, hahaa we went to the city to have our Thai dinner just to satisfy my thai cray cray *wink*

Was in my swimwear, my god never expected that windy, cold die me :'(
call off the day with a stroll with fam =) free and easy kinda day.

Day 2 : Cape Byron lighthouse

Being the typical tourist, Byron Bay Lighthouse has become an icon for Byron Bay and is a must for any visitor to Byron Bay.

So in love with the scene where I can literally spend few hours there just to watch the sea, throwing behind all the wonders and worries. #lifegoalNot only it is a great whale watching spot, but the Byron Bay Lighthouse is also a working wonder and the brightest lighthouse of its kind in the southern hemisphere.

The view was really breathtaking and the scene will definitely become a memory that I will keep to the end of my days!

Hi Tea : FOLK Cafe

Folk Cafe is a popular Byron Bay hangout where local, fresh, organic plant based fare served thoughtfully on old-school enamel kitchenware, turned wooden bowls and kitsch 70’s era ceramics.

I really in love with their well thought-out interior design and the breezy laid back vibe that carries through from the inside to the many leafy spots to bunk down in outside. Cozy it is!

Not forgetting to mention their food and services.

Here you go with my first post in 2017! will try my very best to improve the content in near future I promise ! Hope you enjoy reading and stay tune for my “Graduation” post coming up next!!

Thanks for reading!
