2 hours after boarding the mini van from Pattaya, I arrived in one of my favourite city! Upon checking in immediately into Hotel Once Bangkok, I was surprised by the extremely contemporary, modern and minimalistic design of the interior which situated in a new unfamiliar territory for me.
Instead of staying in Pratunam, Silom, Sukhumvit and Sathorn area, I decided to choose Hotel Once Bangkok which near Asiatique this time.Very much to my surprise, I think the hotel succeeds in paying homage to vintage hospitality, and honouring the architectural heritage of it’s surrounding areas. If you’re looking for a fresh take on modern amenities in Bangkok, perhaps it’s time for you to pay a visit here!
It was interesting that the high ceiling and long doors gave off such a classy and welcoming ambiance seems like inviting you in for a discovery .
I felt the classy elegant welcome already, almost immediately.
Upon stepping foot into the lobby – the area is furnished with artistic sculptures and it feels fresh and breezy with an open air layout and only a fountain and greenery separating the outside world. I was whisked away to the check-in desk by one of the friendly hotel assistants roving about.
All their rooms are tastefully decorated with custom made antique style furniture.
I spent my 2 nights in the Executive Jacuzzi. I have chosen to save my jacuzzi experience to the next night and am definitely very satisfied with their bathroom too.
I spent my 2 nights in the Executive Jacuzzi and the jacuzzi came really in time especially after a long day in Bangkok city. It’s a hip double-volume loft stylish decorated with premium custom-designed furniture and elegant lightings.
The hotel was being extra thoughtful to compliment “Milk Bath Oil Spa”, a self-spa for relaxing and romantic time experience with Jacuzzi in the room. How lovely is that!!
Definitely a room that couples should check out!
I just couldn’t find a reason to not love the luscious bubble bath in the Jacuzzi tub when it was neatly fixed up in the bathroom and its fully accessible, along with all first-rate amenities.
I was also invited to its famous TopKnot Rooftop Bar & Restaurant for Lunch! We ordered some really good food and till now I will still miss the milk teas :'(
The restaurant on the highest floor serves a perfect location for sunset drinks, dinner or a special event. Stepping up the staircase, one can overlook the 360º views of the Bangkok skyline.
I enjoyed catching glimpses of Chao Prya river, Asiatique Riverfront and numerous high rises as we dug into our meal. Especially when the dishes we had were reaaaaaally good and I highly recommend eating here at any point of time because you will not regret it, be it the food or the view.I promise!
Despite the nice food, the view at night is another bomb!
Moving away from the Rooftop sunset experience, I had my breakfast at another well decorated place for the both mornings that have a different style yet located just right below the Rooftop =)
This stay was honestly nothing short of spectacular. Still feeling so blessed to have been massively pampered with a luxurious place to stay, a cosmic ton of good food.
Thanks for readingggg, I hope you enjoy and will see you in next post!
